Hyundai Motor Company, an official partner of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, has handed over a fleet of 61 vehicles ahead of the start of the tournament in the Czech Republic next week.

Santa Fe, i40, i30 and H1 minvans are among the vehicles given to the host country to be used as transportation during the finals. The cars will help to transport players, staff and officials in the host cities of Prague, Olomouc and Uherske Hradiste, where all the fixtures will be staged.

"Hyundai Motor is known worldwide as a supporter of football and partner of UEFA," said Miloš Adámek, senior PR manager and spokesperson of Hyundai Motor Czech. "We are very happy that Hyundai Motor supports the organisation of such a major football championship in a country where we manufacture our cars for the whole of Europe."

Guy-Laurent Epstein, marketing director UEFA Events SA, said: "We are delighted to have Hyundai Motor as an official partner of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship and grateful for the key role they play in terms of providing transportation throughout the tournament."

The championship begins on 17 June with the hosts taking on Denmark at the Stadion Eden in the capital Prague. The Czechs subsequently face Serbia and Germany in Group A. Group B, meanwhile, consists of England, Italy, Portugal and Sweden. The top two teams in each section progress to the semi-finals, both played on 27 June. The decider takes place three days later.
