Women's game in UEFA Direct spotlight

With this summer's UEFA Women's EURO 2017 coming closer, women's football takes special pride of place in the latest edition of UEFA’s official magazine UEFA Direct.

In addition to the in-depth interview with UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin – available on UEFA.org – there’s a strong women’s football feel to the latest edition of UEFA’s official magazine UEFA Direct.

Women referees take particular pride of place in a comprehensive review of UEFA’s winter courses in Malaga.

With this summer’s UEFA Women’s EURO in the Netherlands just around the corner, we hear how female match officials are working constantly to raise their own standards, especially in terms of their fitness.

In the coaching supplement The Technician, Silvia Neid, who won a host of world and European honours as Germany’s women’s national team coach, gives a fascinating insight into current and future trends in the women’s game.
