UEFA will this weekend hand out more commemorative caps and medals to players past and present who have achieved the distinction of reaching a century of international appearances.
UEFA announced the new award in August, with players from any of UEFA's 53 member associations in line to receive it should they amass 100 caps for their country. The first presentations were made after the UEFA EURO 2012 qualifiers on 2 September, with former Northern Ireland goalkeeper Pat Jennings among those honoured.
A further 13 players will be handed their accolades on Friday night, among them Karel Poborský – a finalist with the Czech Republic at EURO '96 – Dejan Stanković, who is likely to feature in Serbia's Group C fixture against Italy on Friday, and Greece's UEFA EURO 2004-winning captain Theodoros Zagorakis.
The full list of European international centurions is available on UEFA.com. Further presentations will take place on Tuesday, when UEFA EURO 2012 qualifying concludes, and at future national team games and other events across Europe.
