UEFA has announced an exclusive agreement with TV4 Group for the broadcasting rights of UEFA EURO 2012 in Denmark and Norway.
TV4 Group will ensure extensive coverage of the tournament, with the live broadcast of a minimum of 19 matches on free TV, together with highlight programmes and further magazine programmes. In this respect, it will begin internal and external consultations for the allocation of matches between its own free and/or pay channels and free-to-air channels in Denmark and Norway.
Commenting on the agreement, David Taylor, CEO of UEFA Events SA, said: "We are very pleased to extend our relationship with TV4 Group for the delivery of UEFA EURO 2012 to the football fans throughout Scandinavia.
"TV4 Group has been a long-standing partner of UEFA and has also already acquired broadcasting rights of UEFA EURO 2012 in Sweden in a separate deal last year."
