Women's U17 teams thrive in Nyon

Nyon hosted the fourth in a series of six pilot women's Under-17 tournaments and Scotland coach Pauline Hamill spoke to UEFA.com about her team's "fantastic" experience.

Women's Under-17 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Russia, Scotland and Wales were given the chance to showcase their talent earlier this year as they competed in the fourth of six international development tournaments with the support of UEFA's HatTrick assistance programme.

The event at Nyon's Colovray Stadium offered players the chance to sample a tournament environment. After six days, Scotland emerged victorious and coach Pauline Hamil spoke glowingly to UEFA.com about their "fantastic" experience. Wales coach Jarmo Matikainen and Bosnia's Davor Pekija echoed her sentiments while Russia captain Elmira Poskunova told us about her finals education.
