UEFA has today unveiled the new visual identity created especially for the 2014 UEFA Europa League Final which will take place at Juventus Stadium in Turin on Wednesday 14 May 2014.
The final in Turin will be given a personality of its own, with a complete design concept specially developed for the event. The design and logo will provide both the ‘Road to the Final’ branding and the final itself with unique identities that will be applied across a wide range of promotional applications, with the objective of helping promote the final and enhance its prestige as one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
The design concept reflects the “Journey for European success” taken by fans and clubs throughout the continent to reach the final destination in Turin, which on the day of the final will become the “Capital of Football”. This idea celebrates the history of the city and its rich football heritage, portraying it as the place where a new page in football history will be written enabling fans to live out their passion.
The final design identity features elements of the host city and is an adaptation of the run-of-season design. It expresses the emotional culmination of an adventurous European journey. The visual identity for the 2014 UEFA Europa League Final can be downloaded from UEFA.com.
