029 - Open training session, press conference and interview sessions to be held on 2 May
A Workshop for referees, assistant referees, additional assistant referees and fourth officials will take place in Warsaw from 30 April to 3 May in preparation for the forthcoming UEFA European Football Championship final tournament.
The workshop will involve all the match officials appointed for UEFA EURO 2012 as part of their preparation for this summer’s games. The 31 matches in Poland and Ukraine will be handled by a full team of seven match officials, whereby the referee, two assistant referees and the fourth official will be supplemented by two additional assistant referees, as well as a reserve assistant referee. The first 20 minutes of one of the training sessions will be open to cameramen and photographers on the morning of Wednesday, 2 May, starting with a group photo at 08.30 CET at the Agrykola Stadium (ul. Myśliwiecka 9, Warszawa).
A press conference will then take place at 11.30 CET at the Hilton Hotel (ul. Grzybowska 63), chaired by UEFA’s Chief Refereeing Officer Pierluigi Collina. Afterwards, media representatives will have the possibility to conduct one-to-one interviews with the 12 main referees, and the two fourth officials from Poland and Ukraine.
