UEFA EURO 2012™ logo and slogan to be unveiled in Kyiv

114 – Special ceremony to take place on 14 December

The logo and visual identity of the UEFA European Football Championship 2012 will be unveiled, together with the slogan of the competition, on the occasion of a special ceremony in the city of Kyiv on 14 December 2009.

UEFA President Michel Platini, together with Grigoriy Surkis, President of the Ukrainian Football Union (FFU) and Grzegorz Lato, President of the Polish Football Association (PZPN) will present the logo and visual identity of UEFA EURO 2012™ as well as the slogan of the competition to media representatives and to the general public on Mykhailivska Square at 12:15 (local time) on 14 December.

The ceremony will be followed by a press conference attended by the UEFA, FFU and PZPN Presidents at 13:15 at the nearby Intercontinental Hotel.

Media wishing to attend the ceremony and the press conference must apply for accreditation by emailing the press office of the Ukrainian Local Organising Committee media.ukr@euro2012.com no later than 02 December midday, indicating "Logo launch" in the subject header.
