Venues for 2011 and 2012 UEFA club finals designated

007 – Decisions from the first day of UEFA Executive Committee meeting

The UEFA Executive Committee today met at the House of European Football, in Nyon, Switzerland, for the first time in 2009.

Chaired by UEFA President, Michel Platini, the UEFA Executive Committee today approved the appointment of the host venues for the finals of the UEFA Champions League and of the UEFA Europa League for 2011 and 2012, as follows:

• UEFA Champions League Final 2011 to Wembley, London
• UEFA Europa League Final 2011 to Lansdowne Road, Dublin
• UEFA Champions League Final 2012 to Fussball Arena, Munich
• UEFA Europa League Final 2012 to National Stadium, Bucharest

The meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee will continue during the morning of Friday, 30 January 2009, and any further decisions will be communicated at the end of tomorrow's meeting.
