Real Madrid CF pair Toni Kroos and Cristiano Ronaldo have handed over a cheque for €100,000 on behalf of UEFA to the International Committee of the Red Cross.
Real Madrid CF and Germany midfielder Toni Kroos joined club-mate Cristiano Ronaldo in presenting a €100,000 cheque on behalf of UEFA to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Tuesday.
Kroos and Ronaldo were both voted into the UEFA.com users' Team of the Year 2014. They handed over the cheque prior to Madrid's UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg against FC Schalke 04 at the Santiago Bernabéu.

It's very nice. It's always a pleasure when the fans honour my performances from the previous season. I really appreciated being nominated in that team and I hope I will make it again next season.
