UEFA President welcomes ECA board members

Real Madrid CF president Florentino Pérez and Manchester United FC chief executive David Gill were elected to the European Club Association board at its general assembly in Geneva.

Real Madrid CF president Florentino Pérez and Manchester United FC chief executive David Gill have been elected to the board of the European Club Association (ECA) at its general assembly in Geneva.

UEFA President's congratulations
The two join the 15-member board for two-year terms. "I wish to congratulate Florentino and David," said UEFA President Michel Platini. "They represent two outstanding clubs that are steeped in European football history, and I am looking forward to continuing working together with these two great clubs and all the other club members of the ECA."
