Regulations will also be up for approval in Europe's three major club competitions – the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Super Cup – for the periods between 2012 and 2015.

Other discussion points for the committee are match scheduling principles for European national-team qualifiers and a request by the Football Association of Wales (FAW) concerning admission to the UEFA club competitions of Welsh clubs playing in England.

The next meeting of the Executive Committee after Istanbul is scheduled for 29 and 30 June in Kyiv, Ukraine.
