Manchester media details

Media accreditation details have been issued for the celebration match between Manchester United FC and a Europe XI at Old Trafford, Manchester on Tuesday 13 March.

Two jubilees
The game, which kicks off at 20.00 local time (21.00CET), will mark two jubilees: Manchester United FC's half-century in European competitions, and the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome, which laid the foundations for the modern-day European Union. It is being staged by the Manchester United Foundation in cooperation with UEFA, with support from the European Union. All proceeds will go to charity.

Accreditation procedure
Media representatives wishing to cover the match are asked to note that the procedure for accreditation requests differs from the procedures habitually adopted at UEFA events. As the match at Old Trafford is being staged by the Manchester United Foundation, the club will process accreditation requests. The deadline for media accreditation requests is 12.00CET on Tuesday 6 March - one week before the match.
